Adorable Thanksgiving Romances

Books to get lost in this Thankful season if you don’t like to fast forward straight to Christmas.

Believe it or not, there’s not as many Thanksgiving-specific books as there are for Christmas. Some of this books are centered around Turkey Day, but others may just mention the holiday meal, have a memorable Thanksgiving scene, or just give Thanksgiving vibes. It’s not my fault that Thanksgiving isn’t nearly as romantic as Christmas!

Her Naughty Holiday by Tiffany Reisz– This is the middle book in the “Men at Work” series by Tiffany Reisz. Clover needs a fake date to her family Thanksgiving to get her family off her back, and sparks fly!

Maple Sugar Crush by Beth Labonte– This one is also part of a series (and the first one was in my Fall Vibes recommendations!). It’s a small town romance that centers around a lottery winner who can’t get gold-digging bros and her matchmaking family off her back. You guessed it, there’s fake dating and Thanksgiving dinner.

Lease on Love by Falon Ballard– This grumpy/sunshine opposites attract romance centers on accidental roommates who end up being just who the other needs as they heal from heartbreak and setbacks.

Pretend You’re Mine by Lucy Score– More Thanksgiving and fake dating. What about that Holiday makes everyone feel like they need to bring a fake date home to their families? TBH, it sounds like all these families need group therapy. But it does make for funny reading and will they/won’t they vibes.

Ready or Not by Meg Cabot– This is YA Romance, but it is REAL dating and actual Thanksgiving. Samantha is going away with her boyfriend’s family for Thanksgiving, but the only problem is that they are not just a normal family. Her boyfriend’s dad is the President of the United States and they are spending Thanksgiving at Camp David.

The Martian by Andy Weir– I realize this is not a romance novel. This is a sci-fi novel about a guy stuck on Mars, but there’s a pretty memorable Thanksgiving scene in it so we are going to count it. It really is a great book even if it isn’t my favorite genre. It turned into a Matt Damon movie, so it can’t be all bad.

Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan– If we’re being honest here, this one is perhaps Thanksgiving adjacent. But it’s an awesome book and Thanksgiving is mentioned in the book. So I’m going to say it counts!
